It boils down to your on confedence. For me when fished weightless there is no substitute for the original senko. The very things that makes them so soft and fragile is what also gives them the best self induced action on the fall. If I fish a weighted stick bait I might use another brand.

Rattlesnakes are good, too. Yum Dingers can get you by if you run out of Senko's. All that said, I agree with most of the posts above, there is no substitute.

Absolutely. Just fished Amistad on Sunday afternoon until Monday midday and caught over 90 on stickbaits. Partner used Yum Dingers and I used Big Bite/Tiki STicks and we killed them. Nothing huge but plenty up to 4 1/2.

Not bad with the lake down 8 foot!

I like the action of a weightless senko better than any other stick worm. Although if I am using a texas rig I will sometimes use Tiki Sticks instead because they are cheaper and i like some of the colors they have better.

Your overthinking this one Lonestar. Baits are the same, salt content, hookslot, etc. The only thing is that somebody mentioned that we get these from the same distributor, when in fact, we are distributors (and get them from the same manufacturer)

This is a bit misleading as well, because the reason "big bites" are so cheap (although at 10 bucks for 50; i charge the same price) is because Big Bites is owned by the manufacturer. It's really shady that they did that because all of the customers they had before (like me) are getting undercut by the manufacturer (so we'll never be able to compete directly) All i can hope to do is dazzle you with customer service, and surprise you with extra baits. anyhow, i hope that cleared any questions up.

I cannot speak to all of the stick bait companies out there but I have been using JDC Baits Gibroni and he shoots all his baits himself. There was a time when he used the same manufacturing location as most of the others but he decided to do it all himself and has for several years.

Not all soft plastic stick baits are equal. The amount of salt and the amount of softener dictates the fall rate, action, and durabiity. There is also attractant thrown into the mix to complicate the equation. I personally like the formula that JDC Baits uses and have been very successful with the Gibroni.

Everyone needs to make their own decision on which bait they like the best because bottom line, if you don't have confidence in the bait it probably will not catch many fish.

Alluringbaits are awesome. I have won a ton of money with Brent's baits and I have not bought a bag of motos in 3 years. I challenge you take a moto, a Yum Dinger, and an Alluringbait Trik Stik and throw them in a tank and watch what happens. I do stretch the baits before I throw them and it stays just as durable as when I pulled it out of the bag. As far as Big Bite, they just do not have the color choices that Alluringbaits have.

tiki sticks are a good substitute, catch alot of fish on them and they are more durable, but like some of the guys said the origenal senko and kinami flash are the best.
