Aggiebowman Green Horn Registered: 04/16/08 Posts: 9 Loc: Texas	I'm fishing lake Houston which is a north/south running lake and I can find calm water to fish...but getting there is well, not fun! $\:\($ It blew from 20 out of the north and within an hour it 25 fromn the south!! Gotta love the Gulf coast flow!!

Even with 2 anchors. I tried bank fishing with the wind in my face last weekend, but it is real hard to bank fish when you have 2 foot waves crashing to shore and you can never tell when you have a gite.
