I will have a boat. I will have crawlers, crickets, and maybe mealworms for sale when I'm not out on the water.

Well, I now have to work that weekend so I will be missing the event.

Me too, just about cant wait, probably myself and my wife, and a 20 foot Carolina Skiff. Will be tossing the nets for Tilapia too.

i think i might try and hit this one too. probably leave the kids at home this time though. i'll try to see what everyone else is bringing and chip in something different.

do we catch the bream and sunfish and we clean them at the spot of what????

We did some of that last year and I think some were caught the day before. There is a cleaning station right next to the dining hall and I saw about 100 bluegills get cleaned just before they hit the hot oil! Now that's what I call fresh!

And the boat ramp is right next to the cleaning station.

I have a hard time planning that far ahead, but it sure sounds like fun to me! I have a state park annual pass, so I may just plan on camping there that weekend, and bring my kayak.

I have it put on my schedule on my PDA.

Coach, not a lot of organizing needed. As it gets a little closer to the date, just check the list of who's bringing what and see what you might bring. Post up what you want to bring along for the fish fry and then just show up ready to have some fun and a fantastic meal of some tasty fresh fried bluegill filets! Welcome aboard.

I am ready and fired up for this! We have a place to stay with a friend in Fairfield and I will bring the family. My kids can catch the bream.

Also - look in this area and see the awesome redear we just got Saturday. They will probably be coming with us!

I know, I know, it's still a little more than 2 months away, but has anyone given any more thought about getting some T-Shirts made for this GTG for those that are going to show? Getting really pumped on this occasion and never fished Fairfield, but have been there a couple times, but after seeing the size of the bream that family caught this past weekend and the ones that others caught last year, I'm about to go nuts over here waiting.

Maybe my trip to Toledo Bend will get me a little 'at ease' but I haven't caught bream consistantly in that size for years.
