I noticed shakey head rigs are on few peoples posts, Im not familiar with that technique? I understand its a plastic on a big hooked jig head? but thats about it.

My personal favorite is a watermelon/red flake zoom brush hog, texas rigged. In the spring I always tip the tail with chartuese die. This is my usual goto when the fish are shallow!

BTW- Alton the big black and blue worm is one of my favorites as well!

Thanks for the repsonses!

Yums watermelon seed paddle worm using a 1/4 jig with a flat head. You can work it a 100 different ways but real real slow is the best for me. Toss it out let it hit bottom and hold on.

Thanks for the responses guys. I noticed a lot of baby brush hogs on the list. I use both the babys and regular. I catch more fish with the baby but I can go back over the same area with the regular and get more quality bites. If I was fishing a tourny I would certainly pop 5 with the baby and then switch to get my kickers! if they arent hitting either then I will use my watermelon/ ref flake Tiki.
