If you park you vehicle in the parking lot of a boat launch that charges a fee (on the honor system, lock box with envelop you fill out and drop in the box)and launch your tube from the shore line do you pay or not?

TP&W requires a launch fee even with a tube, when in doubt pay, it's not that much!

At Mill Creek (Canton City Lake) you have to pay only if you use the launch ramp. There, you pay your fee at the Police Station, and I asked specifically if I was to launch my craft without using the ramp, should I pay? They told me absolutely not, the fee is for the upkeep on the ramp and boat dock and if you don't use those you don't need to pay (there's no charge for parking), So, I'd recommend if possible, get in touch with the folks who are collecting money from the drop boxes, they may not feel that it's necessary for you to pay if you aren't going to be using the resources the fee is designed to support.

On Corp's lakes such as Roberts or Lewisville the fee is for use of the area, parking included. Some of the city parks, like The Colony, will ticket you for parking in the boat trailer parking area without a trailer.
