i know at lake ray hubbard (capt cove)they are hundreds in the shallows....like 1' of the bank...caught 12 last night just dipping a blk/chart tube jig for crappie

Went to my favorite pond Sunday evening and pulled in a fightin' sunny about 7-8" on a 4/0 offset hook with a 6" worm. He pushed that worm up the hook and onto the line just like a big LMB would. Love them sunnys!!

Yep, we got golf courses. But don't hit the water hazards -- it spooks the fish.

See the white around the ear opercule? That is the mark of a longear sunfish.
