I went White fishing today and decided to bass fish a little this afternoon before coming in. Went in Rush and Yankee Creek. Found several fish on the beds in both areas. Nothing huge. The water was stained and about 67 degrees, but you can still see fish back in the shallows. Caught a couple 3 pounders off the bed. Caught several more fish off the edge growth on the way in each cove. Ran across to the power plant cove and caught 6 more keepers on a spinnerbait on the edge of the reeds. Caught 2 more on a senko on the outside. The fishing is getting pretty good. I caught 13 total in about 3 hours of fishing. No big fish and my best 5 would probably be only about 13 pounds, but it was fun!
