Well I lurked some and after viewing the online keepsake and reading about the texas carp I wanted to sign up to check things out. Who knows maybe I will even make it down there someday. I am on the cag boards and others so I see a few people i know. Just wanted to say hi.. Brian

Well with gas I would have to save up some. I am from PA and I have driven straight through to kansas which is a 24 hour drive. I have some friends down there and I would imagine texas isn't that much more of a drive.I really enjoyed the tournament this year. It was fun to read about it and see all the big ones landed. It was really a close one at the end.

Texas is pretty big man. When you come in to Texas on I-10 on the eastern border, there is a sign that reads "El Paso 854 miles" (about that many)

It took me longer to get from the eastern border of TX to San Antonio than it took me to get from GA to Florida, to Mississippi, to Alabama, and Louisiana to the border
