I went there over spring break and didn't do any fly fishing but there are definitely some fishable areas that I investigated about. There's a bay between Fort Morgan and Gulf Shores area that looked like the best bet for fly fishing if you can find a good undeveloped part of the shoreline. Also, on the bay side of the Fort Morgan area there's a place you can pull off the side of the road and fish which I believe could be good the time of the year you'd be down there.

If possible try to get a kayak somehow. I think that'll be your best bet as far as having success fly fishing. There were plenty of places that looked pretty good, I just needed a kayak. Also, I might suggest trying to fish the jetties. I read one of the hot spot maps for down there and it said they could be pretty good. Good luck!
