It is the 4th Annual Brother Blue Team Bass Tournament at Joe Pool Lake on April 19th. 1st Place is $1000.00, 2nd $500 3rd- $300, 4th- $200 and 5th- $100. There are multiple other prizes to be given away and other prizes to choose from. Almost every team walks away with something. Last year we had 37 Teams. The entry fee is $100.00 per team and a $5 optional big bass pot. Begin fishing at 6:30 AM and you can launch anywhere on the lake as long as I have your money and entry form. You can e-mail me at dporter@gptx.org and I will attach your forms. We will be set up between ramps 2 and 3 at Lynn Creek Park on Friday evening and Sat morning. Thanks Dennis

So since you can enter early and launch anywhere does this mean that nobody will be doing livewell checks??

That is correct, however anyone is subject to a polygraph at weigh in , we have a professional for this.

Just as a quick note we will be set up in Lynn Creek Park after 5PM on Friday and gates will open at 5 AM on Sat. We are between the two boat ramps in Lynn Creek. Just tell the gate attendant that you are with Brother Blue and they will let you in free. If you have any questions please call 214-682-0579.Weather is light wind, sunny and warm. What a day. This is a very well run tournament and alot of fun.
I will post the full results when Dennis sends them to me.

Well James and I ended up 18th with a 3.05 lbs but would have had 9th due to James making a rookie mistake and throw a 13 and 3/4 inch back in the lake and we could not make up that lost 5th fish. we had a blast and there were some nice prizes given out to. I will not miss one of these again. It was nice to see some BBF friends out there to.

Well it was my first time attending the Blue Brothers Tourney and I got's to say, that it was great.(It ran smoothly) Just like Late4Lake, said it wont be my last time attending either.
Also my father in-law and I ended up 13th place.
