Took the Grandson to Bethany today. He caught a bass and 2 sunfish.

Been tough to go fishing the past few days with the recent rains. Did make it Bethany Lakes this evening. Only had a little time,.... water was flowing well in the Canal and the Waterfall. Had a hookup on the second cast - a little Bass. Good stuff! Today's Video.

I haven't been able to make it out fishing lately. Been busy trying to make some money and my mom came in from out of state. I'm hoping to get out some this week with the nicer weather. Glad to see the fish are still biting some :-)

carp and cats hmm i sugest chicken liver. Ive caught cats on it and believe or not i have caught more carp than u can shake astick at on chicken liver

The wife and I made it out to Bethany lakes yesterday. She ended up with 2 and I caught 3. We fished the second pond with the fountain. No pictures this time. All fish we caught using soft plastic worms. Wife was using a medium retrieve so it wasn't too fast. I was fishing slower. Not bad for about 2 hours :-)

I was out at Bethany Lakes this afternoon and cought 2 on a small 1/8oz jig with black and pink tube.

Fished a White Wooley Bugger at Bethany this afternoon. Had fun catching Bass. Even had a Bluegill and a Sunfish go for the fishing fly. No Bruisers but still had a lot of fun! Today's Pictures.

Tough go yesterday with the cold wind and temps; managed a little Bluegill at Bethany. Went back at Lunch today and caught two Bass on a White Wooley Bugger! Today's Pictures.

I also made it out yesterday. I fished a pond that I've never fished before and found about 2 weeks ago in Allen. Managed to catch 3 bass and a small catfish. I did set the hook on a fish, after after about 2 seconds of trying to pull in the unmovable object, my 12lb line snapped. Yes it was a bass because I caught a split second glimpse of it right after I set the hook.
All the fish were caught using soft plastic worms. Darker colors seem to work well right now but I still catch on lighter shad colors as well.

Wife and I braved the cold today for a few hours. Only caught one but it was about 2-3lbs. Caught on a soft plastic black worm. I caught nothing at our newly find pond.

Went out again and braved the cold for a quick trip. Fished with Bread for bait and a Hook Set Pro - fishing tool that sets the hook for you. Ended up catching two Catfish - one Bruiser that went about 20" in length (posted it on the COAF Leader Board) and a little Bullhead! Fun stuff! Today's Video.

I was able to break away for a few hours today. I tried a couple of places but I don't think they were active so I headed over to the pond next to Joe Farmer Rec center. I knew there was lmb in there so it was time for me to try again since they rebuilt it. I was only there for about an hour and this is what I ended up with.

It weighed about 2 1/2lbs believe it or not. Caught it on a black 3 inch crawdead with red pinchers rigged on a 1/4 ounce white and black jig head.... sssshhhh don't tell anybody.
