I know I will get BASHED for Cancelling the Ray Hubbard Tuesdaynight Tournaments.

But with all the Other fishing activities on the weekend, and mine and my wifes busy schedule, Tuesday is another day I can have to spend with my Family.

As all of you know I put the Lord and Family before Fishing and I feel I need to here.

If anyone else wants to head this up please do you will have great turn outs with a bunch of great anglers.

Casey- nothing bad here... I was wondering when it was all gonna start affecting the family.... you have too beautiful of a family to spend all your time fishing! Bass Pro will still have thier tues night tournies if anyone is too concerned about it!

Well it isn't affecting the family. I just don't want it to ever get there.

Plus I will still be on the lake most Tuesday Evenings but with my little one. She now want's to catch one like Robert Caught this weekend. LOL

they are having thier championship tomorrow on Hubbard, maybe call and ask them when they are gonna start up the 08 tournies

Were can I get more info on the BPS tourney. was really looking forward to this "fun" tourney but since its not happening at this time, we will look into the BPS schedule.

I respect your decision partner. When your decisions and priorities are made God-Family-Self then things will always work the way they should. Even when we can't see the reasons why, the Lord knows and that is reason enough for me.

I will miss the fellowship and competition but at least I will save some gas money and keep me from making those Tuesday night dashes across town in rush hour traffic.

I'm talkin gto Debi about it and she will give me the info, so I can post it on here for you guys.....and Gals..

probably have to call BPS. just talked to climer, they fish from noon to 6:30pm tomorrow(tues). they are supposed to start back up in May.

I am gonna go watch the wieghin. its around back by the courtesy dock. wieghin at 6:30pm.

How much to enter the CABA tornaments? I think a few of us less experienced tournament guys were looking forward to cutting our teeth for a lot less money. I don't mind making a donation but... You understand what I mean. I would be willing to help out when I can KP. Let me know what I would need to do. I think we are in the same boat so to speak. As in, we don't have one.

Here is the deal I have a partner for the Tuesday night tourney if we have it, the problem is we are not having it as of now. I looked at the CABA event, sounds like alot of fun BUT for me, and this is me speaking nobody else, 15.00 is alot more doable every week than 50.00. I can fish every week for 15 or every 2 or 3 for 50. I know the return if you win is better but thats not why I am fishing, I'm fishing for the competition and to get better, its not about money.
So, I will offer my time to help out with registration, weigh-in, anything that I need to do to help out with this Tuesday night 15.00 T series, if people want to have it good lets do it, if not then thats ok too. I have yet to hear from anybody saying they still want to have it, except you SoCal.

I'm in the same boat. I know I sound cheap, but as someone who hasn't fished tournaments, and does not have a regular partner with a boat, 50 bucks is a little steep. Maybe after a while, but not yet. I will also do as much of the other work as I can, but we would need a little more help. Anyone else?

if you can find someone with scales i would be willing to run this with a couple of caveats....

1 winner take all ... $15 per boat max 2 people per but no big bass and no second place money....

2 6pm - 9pm 3 fish limit....

past that i just dont have a set of scales or a table.....

Do like we did last year just use hand held. I would atleast pay Second Place back $10 for there entry fee , same as last year.

I tell you what if some one can wing it till MID MAY, I will start it up full steam ahead.

If you look at money spent you spend a lot more money in gas, and equipment etc. Not trying to get you to go one way or the other for I am not fishing either. But when tournament fishing at our level the entry fees are the smallest part of the money.

I have a hand held digital scale as well. And I can get a table if need be. PM me with any help you might need.

I have a table we can use. I will commit to help out doing whatever. I will even continue to help in May as well.

cheater... prefishing Fork... Jeff and I got ran off from the marina tonight trying to catch that 8# female.. she hada couple 5-6's with her i caught the 2.5 male.. females wouldnt cooperate. gaurd said we coldnt fish there, cause the firemen couldnt get bye if they came and it was private property... told him I had my card for my slip... he said then fish in your slip or at the pavillions grumpy ol fart!! LOL!!

we were on the bank you cant get to those fish from a boat. we were at fault, I was pushing the limits. they dont want anyone fishing there because thats where they feed the fish

If its a big problem to do a Tuesday night tourney every week can ya'll do a 3rd Tuesday of the month tourney or something like that? Just a thought because I know with what I have going on I can't make every Tuesday.

Another thought if its only happens once a month we could pay more of a entry fee.

I say we do it every Tuesday, if you can make it come out and join us. If you can't just try and make the next one. Alot of people will not be able to make all of them but because they are every week you don't have to worry about missing a few. Just my .02 cents.
