Alright guys I work at bass pro and am deffinately wanting to fish this tournment and would really like to help with getting this together. What I'm thinking is the $15 enty, $5 big bass (optional), Pre register online through email form (that way whoever is running it can print them out, then pay at the dock)
Boats should be launched between 5-5:45 so we can start by 6 (if you are gonna be a little late make some special arrangements) fish till safe light (around nine but we all know what time we should be back to wiegh in). 2nd gets their buy in back first takes the rest.
What do yall think? I can't run it because of working some evenings but will fish it as much as possible and anything I can do to get this tournment going I'm down.

Why not leave it like last year.
If it starts to become a head ache I will step back in.
We all leave ramp at 6:00pm to start tournament, Be checked back in by 9:00PM
Best three fish, Second does get his entry fee back and rest to first. $5 of the $15 goes toward big bass.
Casey Sounds good....sounds simple....sounds like a good time!

it sounded like at first nobody wanted to be in charge of a weekly tournament. Leave it the way it was.
I was really looking forward to being on the lake tonight and would have been pretty pissed off if I had gone to the ramp tonight with out checking the site. It's about a 15 min project to get my boat in/out of the driveway. I know its nobody's fault but the cites but still I have to deal with it.

Do it like last yr. I think another fun thing to do would be a monday night dinner or drinks somewhere to get entry forms and fees done. I think there needs to be a min. size to the big bass of some sorts what do yall think? If no one meets that requirement the pot would grow that way who ever does catch that monster bass really does accomplish something special. Neways, lets get this party started and go catch some fish.

Keep it like last year. It worked out great. Big bass is big bass for each tourney.

[B]WARNING RANT FOLLOWS[B/] ok heres the deal if you want to leave it the way it was then you step up and run it..
for those who haven't figured it out this is very time consuming and a thankless job..
I was TD for several trails last year and didn't want to do it again this year, so if you want it the way it was then you show up an hour early and sign everyone up then come back 15-30mins early and weigh everyone in.
other than that i will run it like i stated
again i am not picking any one person to aim this at but you guys want it then you want it the way it was then you'll want it another way sooner or later...
fish it or don't i don't care but dang stop piping up then when your called to do it you come up with excuses not to
what we ought to do is $15/boat and $30 off the top for the TD then $10 for second and what left over goes to the winner

I mean winner

you guys can put a basket on a baby scale for weighing fish hand held is too much of a hassle. i got a baby scale my family uses when we have our anual tournament on cypress. i cant make any of these tournaments because of school but baby scales work great.

The weeks I don't fish it my daughter and I will fish or I'll take her out on a daddy daughter night till weigh-in. There goes my ride... I see how it is, family before your fishing parner. The truth is she may out fish me.
