The reason for this trip to Emma, besides the obvious, was to introduce Tyson and his wife to course fishing. Tyson is the artist that designed the newest LSCB logo for us.

I got started Thursday night and before my wife showed up with Tyson and his wife I had alreayd caught 9 carp including a nice 27 pounder.

The action never stopped................

Tyson's biggest landed;
* a 21 lb carp
* a 23 lb buff
* a 36 lb 10 oz grasser

Courtney's biggest landed;
* a 23 lb carp
* a 21 lb buff

Eva landed another 40 lb buff. Thats 2 40's in 2 consecutive trips for Eva.

Everyone HAULED! At least 35 fish were caught but I wouldn't be surprised if it were as much as 45. According to Tyson it was "The greatest fishing trip of his life!" On Sunday morning Courtney couldn't play any more fish because her arms had given out.

Justin, you'll like this. We caught a carp that had taken 2 of our lines!

Do you really need three hooks to catch one fish ?

It's 2 hooks and no. You must think that I had 2 hooks on 1 line. Both of those hooks were from different rods. This is the second time this year that this has happened at Emma. It happened to Starless Dragon in January.

Awesome, Jason! That makes two fish we've seen take 2 baits in the past couple of months.

Phil, we use standard hair rigs over here but occasionally we get a fish that ends up with more than one hook in its mouth. It usually happens when the baits are close together or if it swims through another line during the fight. We do not use or support the use of trebles. This was just a weird incident!

GREAT work all! Congrats! Looks like a hell of a trip!

Man, another fish on multiple lines, that's awesome lol.

Phil, for the record, when I said you should head up to Austin...that is the spot I was talking about lol.

Along with Lady Bird Lake.

And yes, they are very easy to fish, very comfortable bank space, in a beautiful park. And lots of hungry fish!

As Jason said, they had 35-45 fish in one weekend! Bit faster action then back home, right? Lol.

If you try and get up there I bet some of us would make the trip down to fish it with you.

Once again, Jason, family and friends, congrats on a great trip!

First off, congrats again Jason. Every time you return from a trip I find myself just shaking my head.

Second, I really need to get my a$$ down there...now, if I can just get over my dislike of camping...LMAO.

Great job, as usual Jason! Congrats on another heavy haul.

You do realize that those poor people you dragged down there are now hopelessly hooked, don't you? Nice job!
