This Hookem Bass Anglers chapter was established on January 23, 2004. The common goal was to form a social Fishing Club, dedicated to good sportsmanship and preservation of the marine environment. Fishing anywhere from the coast, lakes or back yard ponds.

Our focus is on having a good time with friends and enjoying the great sport of bass fishing.

You do not need to own a boat or be an experienced Angler, just have the desire to enjoy bass fishing.

Our next meeting will be Sunday, April 13, 2008 at Decker Lake (Walter E. Long) 2pm. We will have a brief discussion on upcoming tournaments and future events.

Following the meeting, we will be fishing.

From US 183 in Austin, take FM 969 east to FM 973. Turn left and go approximately one mile. Turn left onto Decker Lake Road and travel approximately 2/3 mile. The road into the park will be on the right.
Two 2-lane concrete ramps
Park entry fee $5/vehicle Mon-Thurs; $8 weekends
Open all year
