My family has a lake house at Fork. I hate that lake so much! The fish have seen it all, and you are always batlling 50 boats to get into a good cove or on top of a hump.

Thank God we now have a pond close to the lake that we can retreat to fish at when the people and fishing conditions on the lake stink it up --- as they usually do.

Aggie have you fished on fork during the week? It has been my experience that the pressure on the lake by mid week is low.

It isn't just Fork. I fished the coast probably twice a week for many years. Finally, I just couldn't stand to watch the zoo any more and the constant frustration with people cutting in, bird-dogging, and catching and killing every fish they could.

Ponds offer a great alternative to enjoy fishing like it was meant to be.

fatty, I love the action pic on your post.

I fish ponds / private with the AFG club. They are hit and miss. I have found Fork to be very uncrowded during the week. M - Thur is good.
