I went to a sporting goods store this evening. I won't say which one, but their initials are AS+O.

I was on a mission to buy a new reel, line and a few baits for a rod I am building.

Thankfully I selected the line and other goods before I asked the behind-the-counter guys for the reel.

The lead guy was helping a couple fill out some gun related paperwork. Okay - be patient. I finally got his attention and asked for the reel.

He had to call his assistant who had to walk with me to the checkout line and hand the reel to the cashier.

I'm glad I wasn't at BassPro or Cabela's - it would have taken an hour to to walk to the cashier.

I know that shoplifting is a problem, but do us a favor! Just take my picture and keep rolling until I checkout and exit.

...eight...nine...ten... Okay I'm ready to go fishing. Drat - this rig won't be ready till next wedkend.
