I'm going to be making my first batch off boilies tonight, and I plan on making what I call "Natural" Boilies soon.
By that, I mean catching the natural forage for the fish, and making a boilies out of that.

for me, it would be catching, drying, and grinding shrimp/prawn in to a powder, to be used as a flavor....
I'll also plan to do that with crabs, and crawfish.

Does anyone else do this??

I have done this with mixed results. On waters where boilies are a recognized food the results were good. Brand new swim, not so much. Mine were crawfish.

I don't catch my own ingrediants, but Team Jack@ss boilies are almost always based upon natural forage for the fish.

Dustin, find a Hong Kong type grocery store.

Look for belatran "fermented shrimp" in a small block.

Grate it into your boilie mix.
