I have been there the 24th and the 25th. We caught two limits of sandbass and one big hibrid the 24th. Yesterday my wife and I went and caught 29 sandbass in a matter of two hours or so. Four hibrids but none were over 18". Water is so so. We were able to cross the creek several times about kneee high. Still havent been able to find the crappie there.

How far from the bridge were you? I always thought the creek was deeper then knee deep.

I have had a canoe in there and never saw a spot where you walk across knee high? Were you up from the bridge?

They had to have been upstream from the bridge. Downstream is pretty darned deep.

Were you using minnows or jigs, if I may ask Bonkie13?
