Good Day All!

On April 10-12, 2008 the Women's Bassmaster Tour will be fishing on Lake Lewisville. Currently there is a difference between the number of pros and co-anglers. There is a possibility that we will need observers to ride in the boat of some of the pros on the 10th and 11th (Thursday and Friday). I am asking for volunteers who would be willing to be observers if there is still a need. If you or someone you know would be interested, please contact me as soon as possible.

Deb Wilkinson will contact those on the list the week of the tournament to confirm the need of your services. I need names, phone numbers and possibly email addresses for volunteers so that I can forward those to Deb.

Anyone adult can be an observer. Gender does not matter.

The numbers of folks volunteering to be observers is growing! I can not tell you how much I appreciate all of the folks who have been able to say they will help and those who would love to but just can't! Please continue to contact me. We all know that circumstances change in the blink of an eye.

I have been in touch with Deb Wilkinson and I am pasting in her reply to me. I think it says it best!

I would personally like to thank everyone that volunteered to be observers. It makes me proud to live in Texas and belong to TFF. Thanks to Cheryl and all the ladies that helped get the volunteers.

If there are any ladies out there interested in fishing the Lewisville Women's Bassmaster Tour as a co angler you can probably still register to compete. call BASS at 1-877-227-7872. You can find out additional information about this tournament on bassmaster.com or ladybassangler.com also. They will use the observers if there are not enough co anglers.

Navigator is correct! There are still spots open for ladies on both the Pro and Co-Angler sides! We would love to have you come join us!

I've talked to Deb a couple of times on the phone and you can hear her excitement!

Karol is correct! What an awesome group of people! I am so appreciative that we can show off the pride of our great state and forum and I am very proud to be a part of all of this.

I have to agree with Cheryl, Karol, Robin and Navigator, Texas is an awesome place to live with awesome people. I'll be on Lewisville as a co-angler.

Great job!!!!! I got the email from Bruce yesterday, since I'm fishing as a co angler, stating what a great job you, Helen and Patti have done getting enough observers. I plan on forwarding a copy of that email to JP since the fishing forum was mentioned as one of the sources for getting a few observers. Thanks Ladies and good luck to all of you.

Once again I say "THANK YOU" to all who have so generously stepped up to volunteer! I have had several folks ask how soon they will know for sure if they will get to be observers. I will try to find out from Deb when she plans to start calling. I will put in another reply on this email. I will send her the most updated list tomorrow and hopefully she will start getting in touch with folks early next week. I know that some of you need to make arrangements to be off work so the sooner the better.
