Flippers

Remember this, longer flippers are better, it takes less of a flip with your legs to move than shorter ones. If that makes sense.

I would give up tubing before using those backwards scuba fins. I want to fish where I'm going , not where I've been. IMO, the main advantage to tubing is in the precision in which you can position yourself and scuba fins detract from that and only allow you to go faster, easier (in the wrong direction). The fact that you have to work to move is a positive , I've caught many more fish and been forced to fish areas much more thoroughly than I ever would in a boat where I could fire up and change areas at the drop of a hat and I believe this holds true for paddle pushers over swim fins as well. I realize this is a preference type of thing, but that's my opinion. How many of you swim fin guys have busted your [censored] on tree stumps? And I much prefer boot waders over stocking foot, as the only time you need them is when the water is cold and boots keep yuor feet warmer. Jeans and tennis shoes are all you need in the summer and you can relieve yourself without going to shore. (Come on -you know you've done it.)
