My son got his first keeper cat today. It weighed in at a whopping 1lb. It looked alot bigger than that. It'll eat good anyway. It may not be a record for the books but it certainly was a record for us. I stayed up until 1:00am showing him how to clean it. Tomorrow I'll show him how to cook it. He already knows how to eat it!!! You just buy memories like these!

Haha well congrats to you both! Its always fun bein there for someones's first especially since it was your son! I remember helpin my cousin catch his first bass and he caught a 5lber! Lucky son of a gun!

Good fish! I love it when my kids catch a fish better than anything they caught before, they get so excited. My 15 year-old hauled in a bass Tuesday that was a little over 21 inches. He can stop that anytime, dang fish was bigger than any bass I ever caught! LOL
