I haven't been out there, so I'm not sure about the water level. If it is up, is it likely to hurt fishing now that it seems to be getting better? I hope it's not a dumb question. I don't know what to expect.
Thanks, Bob

The river where it goes under 377 is running fast and bringing a lot of mud with it when i saw it today.

The fishing on benbrook is hot and will continue to stay hot for a good while. Spring and summer fishing is great on benbrook. The rain will move lots of fish into the spawn, which is where I will be headed today. Sandbass and hybrids will be trying to spawn. I went to the spawning grounds over the weekend and the sandies were moving in and the shad had already taken over the waters. I will be on BB every few days from here on out. Good luck.

I think it will hurt the fishing. There were still plenty of fish in the main lake Sunday but .....muddy / trashy water could make the catching tough. I am waiting a week before I fish BB again. Report back on how you do PiePuncher!

that link will get you to the home page for the lake which has the current water level on it. I keep it as a desktop link here.

was on the lake yesterday, south end is pretty muddy, clearing up around mid lake, however i would look for the staining to make its way further up the northern end due to the fact that the lake is still on the rise and there is a south wind pushing up the lake. in the past, it took some time before fish will move into the new shallow cover and flats, the ph levels have to mix in with the existing water before things will get back to normal. tonights black bass tourney will be tough. if i notice any sandbass activity i will post tonight afterwards.
