While visiting Mexia, a friend showed me the lake. I NEVER knew it was there! Very cool.

Has anyone fished it? I was told it was about 800 acres. There were nice cabins, shelters and campgrounds. A good ramp, cleaning station, and all was very clean.

Fished it often about 25 years ago. It was shallow, but stay in the river channel and go into the river itself. Pitch spinnerbaits and worms at every stump on the bank. Caught a lot on nice bass.
