I went to the dam and fished off the wall last nite for a couple of hours...stuck 7 biggun's but didn't get any of them to the shore. Sure was some gooood fighting for a while though. I like to throw over the black fence and hit the white water and just catch whatever decides to get in the way. My biggest is a 42 lb Buffalo...took over 30 minutes to get it to the rocks. MAN!! I love the river!! Saw a feller with a basket FULL of some real nice crappie.

what do they use with those big surf poles???? LOTS OF MUSCLES!! I have one but won't use it there. Wears me out in a couple of hours. I use a 7 ft rod w/ Ambassadauer 5500c3 with only 12 pound line, and at least an ounce of weight will sling it as far as I neeed it too.

what do they use with those big surf poles???? bucktail w/ split tails .... good action ,... was there this morning ,..sorry about late report ,.. very tired just woke up .,... looks like good action lately ,... went this morning around 7am parking lot was extra full front to back ,... good action,.. fished for alittle bit ,... started to notice that it was to croweded so i left.... well will be out there in a couple of hours ,... fish on

we did well today... this mornin we started at the 78 spillway and right when we got there we got into a school and caught about 25 or so.... then on the west side of the spillway was the only people gettin any action.... they just shut down completly on our side... we'd never been to the dam so we went and ate and headed up there... i've never been tangled so many times with chinese dudes in my life! it was annoying... felt like Judo Chopping em in the neck! everyone there had big ol hybrids... this morning i was throwin a number 3 Terminator inline spinner... thats what i caught all of mine on.... Jay was throwin some huge white jigs and did well too... adam was doin the same as i was... Why do you point out that they are Chineses and then talk about Judo chopping people. I am not sure why it has to turn into race bashing on this site. If you don't like who is fishing the creek then don't go, but there is no reason to try and be funny or whatever is trying to be said.

I was out there yesterday from 7am to about noon. Needed a bit more weight this time to keep my lure down at the correct depth. White or any kind of Bright Green or Yellow grubs were working good. Saw a few big Buffalo hooked yesterday also. You pretty much need some waders to get at water level & do good. Brought home 12 fish.

I went this morning...holy mother of god I felt like I was in Chinatown!!! Dang us asians don't play when it comes to fish huh? It was so crowded we just BS'd around and just left. Went down to the 78 bridge and then figured out that we needed waders to fish efficiently down there...other than that we caught some fresh air and a nice 1/2 mile walk back and forth to and from the truck. Is it always this crowded? I don't remember it being this bad.

I don't remember it being this bad. hey iamquockie ... consider this as popular as denison dam once was ,... but denison dam is pretty much dead... and now noone has anywhere else to go... so lake lavon is on point !!!

I saw a lot of people that used to go to denison...the same people I steered away from because they crossed my lines one too many times....to cross ones line is okay but to cross and tangle is cumbersome...I can actually tell the difference between chinese/cambodian/laos/viet just by the language. Being asian 28 years of my life helped me with that.

i couldnt tell the difference between japenese chinese viet etc etc etc japs have more slanted eyes. chinese are the wierd looking ones. cambodians are the ones with latino skin color. viets are the loud annoying, sometimes rude ones. but they all have something in common. they love to tangle lines.
