If you need a vehicle or have a friend, family member, coworker, neighbor, fishing buddy that needs a car or truck please give me a call----JOHN---2545341194. If you dont have a boat and like to fish, buy a vehicle and you can go fishing with me and my fishing buddy on stillhouse or belton anytime that we are going! thanks! pass it on and help a guy keep his boat!

I need a good, dependable, fuel milage vehicle. (Ford Ranger truck prefered) Open to all cars. (college student)

Would consider Ford 7.3 4x4 crew cab (personal preferance)

Yeah, I caught that too. My F150 gets about 13 mpg and when pulling the boat I think its 9, but it is dependable and good.

I've known folks with the old 7.3's that got 20-22 hwy mpg. Pulling a load it dropped to about 18-20 (same as city).....so I don't think it sounds too funny. Not when you consider most of us pull boats around rather often. I know I pull mine at least twice a week. Only issue of course is the cost of diesel. But, At 3.13 for unleaded and 13 mpg you pay .24 cents a mile. at 3.79 for diesel and even the 18 mpg you pay .21 cents a mile. Start getting better mileage, and it really makes a difference. Not to mention a properly maintained diesel will only last you until the body panels fall off ;\)
...my .02 cents
