Got FWM0103's post of dropping the two spots he reserved. We received a call from Fathom at 8:13 am on Friday, 3-07-08, asking for a spot on Seite Tuna, informed him it was currently full at 37 deending on the votes for the last two spots by that 37. Fathom asked to be put on standby for any opening that might occur.
As FWM0103 had later released his spots, Fathom gets a spot and has been emailed about it.
Ichibahn, you can take the second open spot of FWM0103's, please email or call and let us know. Got your email/post asking about the three spots and depending on the groups decision on the 38th and 39th spot options, if they become open to be bought you can buy them as per your request for 3 spots.
Again, if the group chooses to not go with the options that we will post(as soon as we get all deposits in to secure the charter) then the last two spots will be open to be bought and Ichobahn has first call to buy. Hopefuly that is clear enough.
We've edited the list to reflect the changes of R.S. dropping the two spots and adding Fathom and tentatively Ichobahn for those two spots.
We have one other sportsman asking for a spot on Seite via email from Friday3-07-08 as well. We'll ask that he post up as well to be on standby if he wants to be considered. We don't want anyone to think that some got in before someone else. Everything will be done in the order of contacting us for any future open spots.
Glanced at deposits, it looks like we have 20 or so, we need all 37 in with us before the 14th to finalize the security of the trip. Get them in if you ain't done so.

I'm out--just can't put it together right now--too many expenses happening at once. I'll keep watching for someone to cancel later, though.

Don't worry, there's almost always a few that have to drop out for one reason or another.

Is anyone opposed to a pool on this trip? I'd think we could have biggest tuna and biggest....AJ perhaps? $20 entry.

Or perhaps Texas vs others in total weight of fish caught?

Just a quick update about deposits and emails.
We have all but one deposit in hand or in route, and the one missing deposit person has been contacted.
We have sent out the first Seite Tuna group email to what we believe is all the committed parties included. If you did not get the group email, please email us at the address on the first post and we'll make sure you are added to the list.
We have the trip secured, now the planning begins as well as working out the last two spot options.
We will post update on the standby list in a few days in the order of contact. Those on the lsit will have first shot at any dropped spots based on the contact date and time to us.

that would be good, though how many grouper do you think will be caught? or is that your plan - to corner the grouper pool

I haven't received an email or anything and want to make sure you received the paypal deposits I made Thursday for Seite Tuna and TBB 08.

Hey guys, as for having a pool for snapper, probably need to make sure it isn't "Red" snapper. The season should be closed by the time Siete comes around. There may be some closures for Grouper, but not sure which, as there are quite a few varieties.

This is gonna be a great trip!
