I like to pan fry it (canola oil, light coat on pan), break up the fillets and mix with taco seasoning and make taco. Low fat and good to eat.

Any recipe that works for crappie, bream, bass etc works for tilapia. I usually bake it basted in butter and lemon pepper though.

Any major supermarket should have it. I believe it's called Chef Paul Prudhomme's Blackened Redfish Magic.

Easiest and best way is to get a skillet really hot, throw about 3-4 pats of unsalted butter into the skillet, sprinkle a little bit of Tony's on both side and cook for about 4 mins each side until golden brown.

I used a parmesan ranch shake and bake the other night. Turned out pretty good.

I actually liked the tilapia. Had never had it before. Just got to find a better way to cook it. Some recipies go way overboard with the stuff they use.

Redfish Magic.....sprinkle liberally on top of fillet. Pad of butter. Wrap in foil throw on grill. DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELIcious. I tried the Redfish Magic and it is very good. Very similar to the Bronzed Tilapia recipe but, seems to have red pepper or a little spicier. My kids and wife said it was ok but, too spicy for them. They prefer the Bronze. I like spicy stuff so the RM was great for me since I didn't have to make the recipe. Just open the jar and sprinkle it on.
