Beautiful day to be fishing, but the fish had other ideas ... we worked from Deadmans point to twin poles on drifts & only had four fish for the day between us. HUGE schools of sandbass (and some I'm sure were hybrids) marking from 34-40 feet of water. Hoping that they'll decide to eat on Thursday, as that's my next/last chance to go out for awhile.
We were using smallish white slabs, getting very subtle strikes just off the bottom.

Oh, Boooooob, the water was even higher at the courtesy dock today! When we went past the two poles, I'd swear I could even see that they were further underwater ... can you say "flooding in 2008"?
