You might post this in classifieds as well. Try craigslist.

Rockwall Marine sells new ones. I got mine about a month ago. I really like it here on Callender Lake (350 acres). It took me a couple of time out to get use to the boat and move around it fron seat to seat.

I just bought a 10.2 Basstender with trailer off craigslist. I've not had a chance to get my trailer hitch installed yet. (Kind of a long story there.) She came with a 36 lb thrust Minn Kota. Can't wait to try her out. My first boat!

I would recommend you look at the "Original Busterboat" by Slash Marine. Which are sold at Rockwall Marine.

I'm on my 3rd small boat. When it's time to replace I totally agree with meP2too on the Buster boat. I have looked at them all and feel it's the best. Go to www.busterboats.com

hey mean green my buddy and i have an eight foot buster boat they are great boats, we have a deck in ours and 50# tm and a merc 4.5 pushing it. its what you would call a mini bass boat. i would suggest getting a 10 footer becuase we are not as small as we used to be so it gets a little tight! but they are perfect little boats we have caught a lot of fish out of the boat since we got it. ours is an 1983 model and is still in good shape.

I have a 12 foot Bass Buster that my Grandfather and I used to fish tournaments in. We had it specially built from the factory with two live wells in it. They are wired and have lights. This one has a custom trailer, a graph, nice cushy seats, trolling motor and 5 h.p. Mariner. I am cleaning it up and doing some prev maint. I will probably have it up for sell in the near future. These are definitely the best two man boats out there.
I will give the guys on the TFF first dibs.
Thanks,
Andy

I've never actually been in one of those boats but just from looking at them, I gotta wonder why none of those manufacturers have ever thought about making a mount for a bicycle style pedestal seat an option for the area upfront. I mean, I think lots of people would prefer being able to stand/lean on those things instead of being stuck in one of those seats the whole day. I mean, some of those boats are stable enough to do that, aren't they?

I fished Athens, Tyler, and the north end of Palestine for several years out of a 10.2 Basshound and caught lots of fish. I used to pull up at Hillcreek and Lake Tyler Marina in that thing and none of the jerks in big boats would even speak to me. I always got a kick out of that. Those small boats are great in skinny water as they are so much less intrusive.
