Wanting to catch some catfish from Lake Granger I need some help. Been doing some drift fishing with shrimp with very little to show for it. Any advise on what I can do to improve my results.

you could change baits and try to use some shad. I seen a ton of jugs over by the damn area, maybe you should change spots? I have only been to granger once so I wish I could tell you more about it. Maybe slow your drift down, and try some fresh shad. good luck!

Go up into the trees in the San Gabriel channel. Find yourself some spots and tie up to the trees. Use stink bait or shad. I use both. If you don't get some hits, move to your next spot. Stay in the river channel. That's a good place to start learning this lake. I usually drift fish in the warmer months, but that's just me. Caught some nice one's fishing these methods.

Actually granger is a great catfish lake. I wear em out pretty good. But I do alot of line fishing but I know some guys catch regular by the doppler radar on rod and reel. Bait a hole granger will suprise you.
