Your opinion needed. Best 32" LCD-HDTV for under $1000?

Considering Samsung unit, 32inch for $899 from Circuit City or LG LCD from Conns for $699.99....Do not know anything about LG products..

Anyway, do any of your have a 32" LCD-HDTV, that you can share pro's or con's on?

Thanks..

We have two of the LG LCD's in our RV, one 32 and one smaller dont know what size it it. I like both of them very well.... They have a great picture, especially the movies..

My brother put all LG LCD's in his house, and hasnt had any problems at all...

I think he has 5 total...

compare
LCD's all have the same display works or it doesn't, what is important are the electronics - switches, tuner, amount of input/outputs & reliability - do a search for LCD customer feed back to see who has what braking.
I wouldn't(& didn't) spend more than $500 - I caught an Emprex 32" LCD on sale(@ Fry's a year ago) & the 5 tear extended contract was $60. (check wallyworld on their price)
The best HD performance is Plasma(but they're pricey)

Ranger R,
Check the contrast ratio, especially if the prices are close.

I have noticed a particular degree of enhanced sharpness and clarity with Samsung, especially when you view them side by side in all of the electronic stores.

Just my $0.02 worth

Samsung LCD. I bought won on Black Friday for $599.00 at Fry's. I have seen one for 799.00 since 1080p 8000:1 contrast. You want the higher contrast, sharper image. If you are not looking for a 0% deal, you can do a search and find a TV cheaper online. My brother-law bought his this way. I am getting my son a 40" for a graduation present. Samsung 1080p 10000:1 contrast for $1199.00, 0% interest form Ciruit City until 2010. Conn's has a LG 32" for $699.00 right now 6000:1 contrast.

We have 3 Samsungs. I have been very pleased with them.

Well, it may not be of any help at all, but we have a 50" Plasma by LG and love it. I would venture to say that an LG LCD would be equal in quality.
