I was just wanting to know if anyone would be interested in 3-4 tournaments on Grasslands lakes for small craft only like kayaks, tubes ,canoes etc.. No gas motors and no boats with trolling motors over 14ft. The lakes I am thinking are Clear lake in April, Black Creek in May, Cottonwoood in June, And maybe Rhodes lake in July. Lets say $20.00 per person and $5.00 For big bass Entries. And pay 2 spots. I'm just throwing this out there so if anyone would like to help get it started let me know. We could even have 2 events on these lakes per month say one bass tounament and maybe catfish or panfish for something alittle different. I would like to start doing something like this every year for the North Tx. fisherman. Not sure how I want to do it yet just wanted to get everyones input on it like do we do it by weight or length. And times.

I have never fished any of those lakes, but I never let something like that keep me from losing money. Are you talking about entering each event separately with its own winner and also paying a series winner or entering the entire series with one fee?
I could possibly make one or two months, but I doubt I could do all of them. If you were talking about the Metroplex lakes (Ray Hubbard, Lewisville, Joe Pool) then I would definitely start making contingencies to attend.

As far as winners, I say weight. It makes it easier to win by feeding live shad to the small ones before weigh in. ;\)

No series winner just fun little tournaments The fee is for each event and who knows if we get enough people we can make it a series and go to other lakes. Just trying to get something off the ground.

It would depend on dates. I already fish two club tourneys a month. Post it up and try it.
