I bought a Calcutta 101GT reel today, $199.95, these are neat little reels. I spooled it with some 12 mono,it is super smooth and casts very well. Anyone here use these?

I have one, I also have a 51GT. Both are great.

I had a few larger Calcutta TE's that I used for redfish and small sharks.

Where did you get the TE for $199.95? seems like a pretty nice deal to me.

David, my local Gander Mountain had them on clearance, bought the 101GT for $199.95 and a Calcutta 201 DC for $299. Is there one near you?

The nearest one to me is corsicana, tx. That's a nice deal for a brand new TEGT though. I would get a 100 or 50 size real if I had the extra money right now.

David, they were blowing out the left handed models, wish they had the 51.

to fellow right handed anglers using the appropriate reels...

wish I had the dough to get it on some of that sale.
