Me and a bud are taking the kids down to Fairfield for some camping, fishing, and just screwing around during spring break (3rd week) and was just wondering if anyone knows of any fishing spots or what type of bait works best. Mostly fishing for the kids. I hear there is a kiddy area and a pier. Does anyone have any additional information. Want the boys to have a good time if we can.

Well for Bream which it is abit early but as the lake is awarm water/power plant lake it may still be okay, that Crickets do wel lfor Bream.
Seems a friend of mine J. Marco(Fishing Supply) often sells a lot of crickets, Ive heard even some purchase 2000 count boxes at times, to folks that are headed down that way.

My closest friend and my "godson" went there about 3 weeks back and wore out the Redfish!
The godson actually setting the youth record of some sort for Redfish so they say.
They went with a guide though and were drifting using bream for bait if I recall correctly.

Just a friendly note about posting your email address on a website.. it's a good way to get lots of spam.. If you can google your address then it's being harvested by every spammer in the whole world! All you need to do is change the format a little so that it won't be seen as a email address or at least not fully correct without human intervention.. the simplest thing is to replace @ with (at) or add spaces before and after the @ symbol.

Hey Scott,
Hook-Line & sinker has given you a good heads up.
I just got over a horrible bout with malware myself.
You can always PM a person with your Email info too!

I appreciate the heads up guys. That email goes into web-hell for me. It has been there for a while but had forgotten to get rid of it. But, will do so. Now, back to the fishing....any other info. Hard to catch them on the web.

Let me know if you get anything in the next week.

Thanks again for the heads up
