Iv'e got a Penn Senator 113H with a gold accu frame. Does anyone know what the benefit of having this frame is? Also where to find another one

Yeah it's a one piece frame in the center of the reel. It does'nt have the side plates though. Can you tell me what the benefit would be having it and what you think it would cost for a new one?

I dont know of any benefit except that it doesnt have cross bars on the top. Hence the name topless. It makes the spool more open to your thumb. THe new frames I am not sure. I know they are not cheap.

The topless frames give you better access to the line for casting and thumbing the spool. The aluminum frame is stronger than having bars across and helps keep the sideplates in better alignment, giving better freespool and casting distance.

I think some can still be picked up at Charkbait, but for the most part I think the frames aren't made anymore as Accurate started making their own reels.
