Hey yall.. we're takin a group of 14 friends to port aransas in may... we wanted to do some shark fishin and maybe some red fishin... anyone have any experience with any of the guides in this area?!? Please! Any info will help greatly! this is my first time down there!

You are going to have to party boat that.. Most captains only have a 6 pack license.

Unless you want to break up the group.

Call down to Deep Sea Headquarters and see what they can do or contact Texas Charter Fleets.

ya not all of us are wantin to go now... probably just gonna be about 8 or 10 of us wantin to fish now... everyone else seems to have weak stomachs... sea aint for everyone i guess.. but thanks

My daddy always told me that if you had more friends than fingers on your hand that you will end up in trouble!!! 14 people on a fishing trip. WOW!!!!

JD,

Most of the Guides down here only take 4 at a time. Some will take 5 but usually it's just too crowded on the boat to be comfortable. You may have to look at multiple boats.
