does anybody fish the san marcos river regularly? if so what are some good places to fish?? As i have just moved here and need good fishing spots to keep my kids interested.. I would really appreciate your help...

Bass are pressured in the SM river, best time to catch them is at night, make sure to use light (6lb or less) line. I've done the best using shiners. If its keeping the kids entertained, I would fish CM allen park right by the bridge for perch, they are always stacked up in there
