ronnie i know we talked about it before but i emailed navionics and asked them about it. they are telling me hotmaps premium 08 has the inland bay info too. i dont need offshore info at all. i could use the hotmaps for the east texas lakes i fish though. i'd be tickled to get all the info i need on one chip.

i see. if you just need the inshore, than of course they are correct with the 2008 Premium Card. I misunderstood and thought you just wanted bay, and out to 20 miles. Premium is definately the way to go.
yahoooooo!!!!!!!!! thanks a bunch ronnie. ive lost sleep over this.i hated to buy the gold or silver and end up buying premium for my home lakes too.
does it have typical info like depth contours and underwater obstructions. maybe some buoys and reefs too? where is the cut off line for inshore/offshore on the electronic map?
