To the top one more time I don't have one of these units YET but some guys in the Bass section were talking about how it works and this is one of the best demonstrations I have seen. Great job making it make sense Ernest.

So where are the fish in that sonar picture?.. are those little white dots the fish?

Can you change the scope of the beam?... meaning can you make the relief right below the boat more detailed?

How much? Is there a great difference in the 997 & 797?
Looks like a $1,000.00 difference in price.
I know these may be dumb questions but I am new to the world of sonar. I guess I am pretty outdated as the boat that I recently purchased is equipped with 2 535's.
