Its about that time again.We will start these on April 1st and go thru the summer as usual.The last tournament will be on August 26th. The championship date will be announced later in the summer.If you win at least one qualifying tournament,your entry fee to the championship is free. Alot of week night tournaments are starting early this year because the time change is a few weeks sooner but we are gonna start the same time as in the past. Tournamet info will be sent to all paid members from last year and there will be some info at Fun N Sun in Hurst within the week. I have worked another deal with Lakeveiw on the ramp fees and with paid membership of $20,that will cover your launch fees every tuesday night thru the summer. Launching 2 times will pay for itself. We will continue to pay back 100% of the entry fees every week. I will also do the monthly total weights for free entry this year.The lake should stay at conservation level this year so we should be fine all year.Below are basic details

* Every Tuesday 7-10:30 pm (starting April 1st)
* Lakeveiw Marina
* $30 entry fee ($10 big bass included)
* $20 optional side pot on heavy stringer (pays 1 per 20 entries)
* pay schedule is 1 per 5
* $20 membership (covers launch fees on tuesday nights,tournament flyers,championship and my time for orginization)
* 100% payback

Good Luck to everyone.

what is the $20 side pot? heavy stringer out of the guys that paid the 20 gets that money? if you dont and just pay the $30 then you can still when heavy stringer just not the side pot? is that correct? i havent seen that before.

I've been fishing these for years and as far as I understand it the $30.00 entry pays 1 spot for every 5 entries. The $20.00 side pot pays 1 spot for every 10 entries and really adds up for the winning teams and usually goes to several teams. I think this started so guys could sign up at the lower level and still compete at a lower cost if they choose. The first time you don't sign up for the side pot you will probably win the tournament which will pay real good but you will be kicking yourself all the way to the house. Donnie pays out 100% so all the money taken in goes back to the winning teams.

Guys if I explained the side pot wrong feel free to correct me.

Monte is correct except it pays 1 place for every 20 entries instead of every 10. He is dead on about not getting in on the side pot although it is an option.
