I have friend that bought a 07 Tundra to pull his 25' Airstream (7000 lbs plus). It doesn't know the trailer is behind it. He has pulled it all over the country almost to the Canadian border. He does have one complaint about the Tundra-at 100 MPH it only averaged 15.8 mpg on a trip from Alabama to Kansas (death in family) Bottom line he loves his 07 Tundra.

I bought 2007 titan crew cab 4x4 about a month ago. It is an awesome truck. I have no complaints. It pulls my toy hauler without a problem, alot better than my tahoe did. A buddy of mine has a 2007 crew cab tundra and he pulls a 30 ft fifth wheel with his. The main think I like about both trucks is that they have alot of power. I just cant keep my foot out of the throttle. I work at a gm dealership and i have been catching hell for buying a nissan, but everyone that has ridden in my truck loves it.

I have an 08 Tundra 5.7 4x4. Yep..I paid more than my best friend who bought an 08 titan 4x4.. But I got twice the truck and twice the resale value also! If you want to see just one difference in the two trucks. "Look at the rear ends" The Tundra has a heavy duty rear end. And the titan has a rear end like a Tacoma!
And when you pull your tires for a rotation..Look at your rotors..Tundra has huge rotors where the titan has tiny rotors.. There is much more to list. But go and look at the two trucks and make mental notes. You will spend more but the bottom line is.. "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR"

I think he meant the Titan has small rotors. Toyota has always but great break setups on there 4x4s. My 88 toyota truck cam with 4 piston calipers up front, I believe all their 4x4s came with 4 piston calipers.
