Anybody else as ready for the summer to get here as I am? It is killing me that you have to go to Stetson rock to find kingfish right now. I am chomping at the bit for the ling to show back up and to catch kings and smacks and snaps.

I am..

My summers have been the same for a few years now.

Start off in Miami fishing with my cousins who will be on leave for a month from the Army, Going to hit the Bahama's HARD!!
Move on to Marco Island to fish for reds.
Off to MO for a wedding and some huge catfishing, hillbily style!
Down to Galveston for sharks
Moving down to Aransas to hit Falcon, EB, Tequila a few times
Back to Galveston to hit Boomvang with the Bertram for dad's Bday!
Down to SPI for my birthday and to prefish TIFT
Back to Dallas for bass and to fish Fork for my first time.
Down to PINS for Sharkathon
Off to San Diego to fish for tuna with my Marine buddies on leave.
Back to TX in time for fall...

Wooo!

Summer is ON for me this year for me. Got offshore six times last summer, shooting for 12 times this year. Kicker is...storing the Triton in Freeport for the peak season, July through October. Far less trailering means less chance for mechanical troubles like flats, obstructions in roadway, overheats etc.
Got my new Accurate 665 to try out and new Penn Torque 300 to try also, slowly phasing out my Graphite and plastic reels moving to the good stuff. See you out there.

A buddy of mine keeps his boat in Freeport too.

It's been a lot easier on him now rather than trailering from Oklahoma! LOL
