My Dad lives on this lake and it used to be good. The locals in had the brilliant idea to kill off all of the grass in the lakes and they killed the fishing right along with it. No grass let just a mudhole with slick bottom and no cover. Don't waste your time, last time I was there we fished for 14 hours and caught 19 fish. Not much fun.
Fished it a couple weeks back and the fishing was good.18" minimum lake.We got 3rd place but caught tons of 17" fish.Took 17lbs to win.During pre-fish the week before we slayed them.I mean it is Spring!
