I have a boat for duck hunting i decided to do a little fishing with. People have told me to stay out of "big water" what does mean? is under a bridge safe say I35 Lewisville?

Here is a pic of it. it is a 14'

big water refers to a large open area where the waves will grow to 2-3 foot in hiegth. find ramps closest to where you want to hunt/fish. or launch from the banks witha 4x4 truck. \:\)

You'll do fine with what is shown in the pic at the I35 bridge and like structure. I got around pretty good when I had a 10' 3.5hp. Exercise normal precautions that are standard operating mode for any good boater.

On Lewisville it's known to have some real jerks running around in it. They have no consideration for the problems they may cause other people. Like they said, just use common sense, stay close to shore. Don't go out further than you can swim with clothes on. Big wakes can cause big problems. Keep your live jacket close at hand.
