Good day today! No giants, but good numbers of fat, scrappy bass. Weather was cooooold this morning, but turned out beautiful (BigLeslie will say that is why the bite turned off.). Water stained, 47-49 degrees (bring your neoprene!). Best bait was drop shot on deeper structure (14-24 ft.). Good getting out with nvatexan and BigLeslie--also good seeing n2fishin out with a rod in his hand for the first time in ages!

Yep, it was a fun time for sure! And yes, that water was cold, but, the fish were hitting. How many total did you two catch?

I am pumped about it getting warmer, tube fishing is a blast.

Cloudy too! I am probably going to Lake Athens tomorrow, but might be inclined to come back into town on Sunday...

Have fun at Athens! I'm not sure yet whether or not I can make Sunday.

I might get out in the AM--depends upon how much work I get done tonight. I'm judging a state student website contest, and I still have a few to go. If I do, I'm thinking I need to visit an old friend, Clear Lake.

Sorry, couldn't make it. Had a hard disk failure last night, luckily, I built a PC with Solaris (Unix) on it that I can use. So, I'll be working on the dead disk pc today.

Athens was not bad yesterday, caught a 7lber and several good slots..came up here early today and decided well what the heck..still nice and cloudy good day for clearlake and maybe FB will be there. But alas, I had the whole lake to myself, plenty of little guys but the average size was a little better, and broke one off that may have been another hog. Did catch a monster crappie on the DS... Next time ya'll!
