I am using Nautic Path USA with lcx 27, I can't seem to make land and shore line contrast the sea very well. On lowrances website they have screen shots that do constrast very well. Please advise on proper setting.

I would like to know the same. I even called them and they say thats just the picture, the screen is different.

What I do is turn my unit to night time viewing. This will give you the BEST contrast and it will be closer to the picture. You may have to customize your own colors for your sonor for it to be to your liking. Use the free download from Lowrance.com, Sonar Viewer. Use the color region settings.

good luck
