Just another one of his gimmicks. He's made a fortune off bass fisherman.

doug hannon has accomplished amazing things in this industry, and with some of his innovations is one of the reasons bass fishing has become what it is today. obviously some people on here like to jump on band wagons when they dont even know what they are really talking about. what have you done for the sport?

Doug Hannons done more bass research than just about anyone. I would probably try anything that he is promoting.

I had dinner with Doug Hannon this evening in Greenville SC. He is here promoting the wavecast reel which is his latest venture. Voted best of the best by Field and Stream this month. Many other recognitions as well since its introduction last year. Doug has invented more industry changing revolutionary products than anyone. He is the real deal and deserves the respect and title of the Bass Professor. I have not fished his snake, but have no doubt that in the right situation, it would catch em.
