Made some Philly Cheese Steak sandwiched last night. Was my first try. Thought they turned out pretty good, but next time will add mushrooms and bell peppers.

Figured while I had the grill going, I would throw on a few "sausage on a stick" just for Fatty.

Looks like dinner to me!

Do grill the peppers with the onions next time...makes all the difference.
And don't forget to call me next time......

That's what I use. I have a spiral slicer that comes in handy for cutting the meat.

Brad... You still hangin around fatty??? \:D

Rick,

That was 3 rib eyes, provalone cheese, 2 or 3 onions and some sort of hoagie type rolls.

I just threw the rib eyes in the freezer long enough for them to start to freeze so that I could slice the meat easier (next time will have the store slice it). Sliced as thin as I could get it and threw the meat on the griddle (about $12 at Academy) on the grill along with the onions. Didnt have bell peppers or mushrooms but they would had been on the griddle with the onions.

Thats the way to go but if you wanna really make it authentic just as the meat, onion, and green pepper get done, throw the cheese (grated makes it real quick) and as it gets melty and gooey mix it up real quick to really saturate the whole mess and slop it on the roll with the cheese all runny. Dang good eats!!

You cant see it, but the underside of the meat has a couple of slices of cheese under it.

What I did when the meat was done was place the cheese slices on top of the meat and let it melt. Once it was melted good, I used my spatchula and flipped the meat on top of the roll where the cheese was on the bottom. Then I went ahead and threw a slice of cheese on top as well.

it helps to partially freeze the meat before you slice it.
