i just booked a beachside condo in corpus for a week during mar. 15-23 is there good fishing there? is it pointless to fish the surf or do i need to wade the flats?

fish the surf, loud poppers at dawn, i mean DAWN, when it's just light enough to see your hand in front of your face, not when the sun comes up, not when your hangover wears off
clousers too but that first few minutes with a popper can be awesome. you can nap in the afternoon.
